26.08.06 Release notes

This release includes fixes for editing custom fields in model inventory, a blocked Save button, and missing assessment notes in workflow validation guidelines.

Fixed custom field options when changing field types within model inventory

Fixed custom field options being cleared, hidden, or incorrectly retained when changing field types.

When you changed a custom field type and changed it back before closing the modal, the options editor could appear empty and let you save a select field with no options; changing from Single Select to Long Text could leave old dropdown options that incorrectly rejected entered values; and reselecting a field’s current type could clear its configured options. The options editor now retains configured options when you change a type and change it back or reselect the current type, and removes dropdown options when you change to Long Text so you can enter values.

Fixed validation alerts blocking Save in workflows and missing assessment notes

Bug fix title: Fixed validation errors that appeared over the Save button in workflows and missing risk assessment notes for API-created validation guidelines

Validation errors in workflows appeared over the Save button and prevented you from saving, while risk assessment notes were missing for API-created validation guidelines. You can now save after encountering or correcting validation errors and view risk assessment notes for API-created validation guidelines.

Fixed rejected values when editing custom fields in model inventory

Fixed incorrectly rejected values for custom fields converted from Single Select or Date to Long Text

After you changed a custom field from Single Select or Date to Long Text, values were incorrectly rejected with an error that misleadingly referenced the “Allow Other” option. After upgrading, affected fields accept values correctly.
